Jayahadadream, who won this year’s Glastonbury Emerging Talent competition, is following up her appearance at the Somerset festival with a headline show at Hockley Hustle, Nottingham’s multi-venue musical event.
She is heading the bill at the hip-hop, folk and classical focused Antenna venue at the event, which takes place on Sunday 20 October.
This year’s event, which is named after the Hockley area in the city, involves 50 venues and 400 artists.
Also appearing are soul singer Alfie Sharp, poet and ‘undefeated battle rapper Bridie Squires, hip hop act Cappo and alt folk’s Catmilk.
Meanwhile Jerub, who performed at the King Charles III’s coronation, is also on the bill.
“The Hustle team are absolutely buzzing to present this year’s line ups, there are some absolute corkers that go to show Notts creative scenes are more than thriving,” said the festival’s director Tommy Farmyard.
“Come and see what this city is all about, hear some fantastic music, eat great street food, dance, smile, laugh, possibly cry, and raise some money for charity whilst you’re at it.”
The festival is supported by Arts Council England, It’s in Nottingham and Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies.
